Christmas chipboard sign

These are the signs I made for my buddy Niccole's swap over at scs. The base is 4x4 chipboard. I adhered the paper with spray glue. The papers I used were, Bazzil-seawater that I stamped snowflakes on in silver(which you cant see even in real life by the way) and paper salon shimmer snowball stripe. I sanded the edges of the chipboard and inked it with a silver cat eye. The letters were cut out with my Cricut and the George cartridge. I covered all of the squares with diamond glaze and then diamond dust to create a snowflake effect. I added some snowflakes and stars by Darice with my crop a dile. I finished it off by applying some tacky tape to the ribbon i bought at walmart for super cheap! It hangs from an eyelet at the top. Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!

$1 Felt Ornament

I got this at Micheal's for a dollar the other day, For my friends birthday surprise mail!!! I inked the edges in Choc chip first cus I was thinking I was gonna go for a distressed look, but of course I changed my mind mid-alter. I wont be doing that again i think it kinda made it look dirty. I used my Crop-A-Dial to make holes for the brad, and added the cute little tag...My friends a Super Diva!!! The flowers and the other two brads I got at HL all and all it took about 5 min and I think it turned out super cute!!! I'm gonna go get a bunch more of them tomorrow to use as tags on the Christmas gifts for the people I really like lol!

Retro BIrthday

Hey!!! I Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving....We sure did. I cooked for 20 people. We made a 17 lb turkey and the people sucked the bones dry.....There were NO leftovers! Ok on to the card....All products SU unless otherwise noted. I started with a piece of Chocolate Chip for my 5x 5 card base. I then layered a piece of Certainly Celery on top that I inked with Choc Chip. On top of that I put a piece of Basic Grey Blush paper that I inked as well. I used the ticket corner punch on both of those and added some misc. brads in the corners. I used the round tab punch on a scrap of basic grey paper and stamped the happy birthday from the fun fast notes set. The flower was cut out of the BG paper. I drew the stem myself which is why it kinda looks funny. The stitching on the pink paper was a rub on I had laying around. Quick and easy!!!!

This is another Birthday card for Jeff. I started with a 5x5 card base in Ballet blue. I layered a piece of close to cocoa on that and then added a piece of close to cocoa DP on top of that. I inked all the edges with close to cocoa using a piece of Rangers Cut-n-Dry stamp pad foam(BTW holy cow go buy its fantastic!!). The small squares were cut out with a punch from CM. The stamps are from Crafty Secrets called Favorite Fellas. This stamp set is so versatile I think everyone should own it for the men in your life! Lets see...the tag is an Undressed chipboard piece from basic grey that I inked with close to cocoa, and the ribbon and the brads are from HL. Hope you enjoy it as much as DH did!!! We had a great night, I got him cologne and a HD drive for his Xbox 360 (it was expensive but worth it he called all his friends right a way to brag lol). We went out to dinner to The Melting Pot, which is a super good fondue place here in Dallas! It was delightful. The meal takes about 2 hours which is nice cus we got to talk and reminisce and all that mushy stuff. Well I'm off to start the thanksgiving cooking!!! Have a great day!

The pictures are bad and for that I apologize i might try and retake them in the morning, But for impatient Amanda here's my post. Although you cant really tell by the picture the background was stamped with the crosshatch BG stamp. Pretty in pink ink on the same paper. The shimmery paper was stamped with the flower from doodle this in Stazon white. It looks cool IRL i promise!!! the ribbon and brads are from HL as are the little gemstones. The top of her dress was jazzed up with stickles. So there you go Amanda a card I don't really like and the worst pictures ever.....lol. Pink Christmas

Red and green is boring, so for my grandma(who only thinks you should use red and green) I present my Pink Christmas Card. As always all products are SU unless otherwise noted The card measures 6 x 4 1/2. I started with white cs inking the edges with pink passion, I then added a strip of Doodle bug designs paper to the bottom. I cut the stockings out of white and pink passion using my Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge. I then applied glitter to the white parts(I put them through my Xyron first, it makes applying glitter sooooo easy!!!) and attached them with Pop dots. I've had the glitter snow flakes for a while...I'm out now so if anyone sees them somewhere, let me know!!!!!!I attached them with Pop dots too. Then I attached the Merry Christmas(pink passion from cricut) This was super quick and easy, since my cricut did all the work!!!

Grandpas card

Hey guys....Hopefully you know that veteran's day is on Nov 11Th. Take some time and honor the men and women that fought to keep our country safe!!! I love this stamp set!!! You can get it here!!! Its called Fabulous Fellas, which is exactly what my Grandpa is!!! He fought in World War II for the US Army in Japan. Grandma don't tell him its on its way :) The paper is from we are memory keepers Venetian line. All of the images and the edges of the paper are inked with SU Chocolate Chip. The buttons and the ribbon can be found here, if they are still in stock. the corners were punched with the ticket punch by SU. And there you have it super simple and super cute thank you for my grandpa!!! Here's a picture of him!!! He's enjoying a 3 lb lobster that he didn't believe existed!!!

Wintergreen Tree

Hey guys!!!! I absolutely love how this turned out!!!! All products SU unless otherwise noted(I finally made a mostly SU card!) I started with a 5 x 10 piece of sage shadow paper folded to make a 5 x 5 card. I inked the edges of it with always artichoke. I then took a 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 piece of DP from wintergreen, inked it with always artichoke, and then matted it on to my card. I cut a piece of the same card stock(also inked) turned over and matted it along the bottom. I then placed my 2 eyelets and threaded some silver cord through it, securing it on the back with tacky tape. I inked a piece of certainly celery CS with certainly celery and always artichoke ink. Then I stamped my HL dollar stamp on to it in always artichoke. I stamped my "trunk" with all in a row in Stazon timber brown. I placed my spirals on Zots(I think that's what they are???) and arranged then in the shape of a tree. I sprinkle the tree with ultra fine glitter to hide the zots. And there you have it......My best Christmas card yet(In my opinion!!)

Health nut 08 recipe swap

I decided to host my first swap at scs, if you would like to join me click here!!!!!!!! Lets get 08 started off with some yummy healthy recipes!!!!!!

Hannah's christmas tree

OK, I think this one is a little better. The card base is Bazzill: seawater that I embossed with the snowflakes folder in my Cuttlebug. I stamped Hannah, the tree, and the ornaments with Sazon black on SU whisper white. The tree is colored with Prismacolors and gamosal. Hannah's skirt is paper pieced(which Ive never done before) out of a scrap of My Minds Eye Bohemia paper. I used the winter wonderland ep for the snow. Her hat was made with Christmas cheer cartridge on my Cricut. I set the size to 2. I used SU ticket corner punch on the WW and matted it on a piece of real red. I added some misc green brads in the corner and I was done!!!!! hope you like it.

Creative block :(

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, my brain has been in a creative fog. Here's a card I threw together tonight to try to help my self out of it. It was created using the SCS card sketch #93. I don't really like the way it turned out, but I hope it gets me on track again!!! Anyway, hopefully I'll get some more stuff done to post tomorrow.
Paper: Bazzill night mist(its a dark navy color), Sassafras lass blue boutique-treasure, SU Ww
Ribbon: dollar from hl
Other: chipboard flower button: from Basic Grey, I painted it with Making Memories strawberries and cream, then dipped it in ultra fine glitter. The "postage stamp" was cut using a die that came with my cuttlebug. I cut it out on chip board and dp and glued it together. The brad was white and I covered it in Cateye's robins egg and dipped it in clear ep.
Stamp: Studio G clear dollar stamp
Ink: Cateye Creamy Carmel and Robins Egg, SU Cool Caribbean and Bashful Blue

Halloween Cards x4

Did I give them a day late?YES. Do I care?NOPE!!!!!! OK so I procrastinated and wasn't done by the time DH had to go to work last night. Sorry the pictures are so bad, I had to take them lightening fast. All of the front panels are straight its just the way the card is sitting. I promise!!!!!!!I started off with a bazzil card stock in orange, I then stamped SU sanded in black, and inked the edges with black Cat eye. I used the directions for the Z card found in my previous post. I cut the DP to 4x3 1/2 and the black too 3 3/4x3 1/4. I added Jolee stickers to the black cs and attached that layer to the DP layer with pop dots. I added the "happy Halloween" stamp (Michael's $1 stamp) with white Stazon. Boom there you have it quick and easy!!!!!!!!!!
