Still cleaning.....

Mary was over helping me organize my studio last night, and I found a ton of stuff that I forgot that I had! Some good some bad LOL. We found this awesome paper!!! I have a ton of Hambly and sometimes it gets "lost" The accents are making memories, I got them on sale a few months ago. They're glittery and clear!!!! The silver metal word are from Joanns and I think I bought them when I first started scrapbooking. I knew I would need them EVENTUALLY!!! There is an awesome piece of fabric behind the picture that I got at a cool whole sale fabric place here in Dallas. If you live around me check out the Etsy Dallas Blog and support your local crafters! I colored the white vinyl Thickers with a Sharpie. This is fast becoming my go to marker of choice. I bought a big set of bright colors and they always seem to match, and plus they write on anything! I printed the journaling on the picture in Photoshop elements 6, it reads: You always make me feel so special. This pic of us on the boat ride in San Antonio sums up a happy happy 24th birthday for me. i love you the most. Thanks for making every day the best day ever! I hope you like it!!! Im gonna go take a pic of some of the stuff I have assembled for the blog candy. So far there is an Autumn Leaves stamp set, some rubons and paper and trim and ribbon and a bunch more!!!! I am also gonna give a secret prize away to another lucky person! I'm feeling rather gifty today :) So remember all comments count till next wed!!! I am hoping to have pics of my finished studio up this week, with some pics of past organizational messes I have gotten my self into. I also plan on doing some tutorials soon. I just gotta figure out how to con my husband into taking the pics lol. TIP OF THE DAY: Store all of your Ranger Paint Dabbers upside down, it will help the paint flow better. Also, if you find the sponge dried out, spritz some water on it to loosen up the paint! I usually spritz with a Mini Mister then get it started on a paper towel or scrap paper. Once you get the hang of it this will take allot of head ache out of using the Paint Dabbers!!!!

OOPS i missed 5k? BLOG CANDY FOR YOU

Well I havent been keeping up with how many hits my blogs gotten lately so i just realized that im over 5k. Perfect timing cus i have been cleaning and reorganizing and all of that fun stuff and i have a huge box full of stuff that i need to give away!!!!! starting today and going until next wed i will put your name down for every comment you leave on my blog. Max one per post(starting with this one) per day!!! Ill do the random.org thing to pick a winner sound good? Ill post a pic of some stuff tomorrow and plan on sending a priority mail box thing to the winner!!! BEWARE i can cram a lot of stuff in that box, so be ready!!! Todays Lo has been rolling around in my head for awhile now. I have been seeing some like this with circles or squares and such. all the circles were punched with a 1 1/4 in circle punch from various pattern papers and photos. I inked the edges with black stazon to kinda bring it together. the tape at the bottom is from prima iod. a little wordfetti and thickers and there you have it!!!! Night guys!! Tomorrow sneak peak of goodie box and a hambly lo that made me cry :)

Early scrappin

Hey guys!! I have been scrapping a ton lately, and last night i found this pic jeff took of me when i very first started (oh the days of hl stickers and my crappy fiskars cutter!) All of the paper is from the Scarlet Lime kit for may. I liked every thing but the letters. Almost every one of them ripped. oh well i just went with it! The background paper is Bo bunny and the other ones are from Chatterbox. I really liked the texture of the papers in this kit!!! The yellow film leader i got off of Etsy. Its awesome i bought a bunch of colors for super cheap. i forget who i got them from just do a search if you like them! Isnt that flower to die for!!! I think she made them her self for the kit. just fabric and a brad with a metal circle piece scrunching it together on the bottom. I need to go get some fabric to try it out!!! I have to take pictures of the other LOs in the daylight. transparencies and flash dont work so well together, and auto is the only setting on my camera i have figured out yet!!! Till then.......

I LOVE PAINT!!!!

This wonderful LO is for my dh so he can remember how much he has influenced my life!!! All my scrap crap (well a car full not all) is at my friends house so this was made with no trimmer no adhesive runner Nada!!! Paper and emb are from sassafras lass my dearest line. Paint is mm.Background was made dry brushing with a big stipple brush(I like the effect) circles were made by thinning some paint and dipping a jar into it and stamping! So cute.....Hope you guys had a great day. Go paint, cus i said so!!!!

More scrap therapy

This Lo is pretty much all KI paper and embellies with the stamp being Teresa Collins for stampers anonymous. I just got off work and Im sleepy. Still plugging along in life, trying to find my way :) Lots of self introspection lately. Am I where i want to be? IF not how am i gonna get there? Yadda yadda yadda! I am going in the right direction just took a wrong turn LOL. Ill be back on track soon. Geez you turn 25 and all of a sudden its time to make things happen!!! Its good though. I just gotta put my big girl panties on and deal with it, life that is :) Hope you guys have a wonderful day tomorrow, Hubs and I are gonna go to the outlet mall!!!! Fun stuff. ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Well its finally here....The day I turn a quarter of a century old. Yep I'm 25 :) I have had a truly blessed year so i thought I would blog some thank yous today! First I would like to thank my wonderful husband Jeff for being caring and understanding, and letting me buy all the scrapbook stuff i could ever think i need. You make my life complete.I am very thankful to have you as my Best friend and husband! You have provided an perfect life for me, and I appreciate how much you support me in life, and my love of crafts! Plus he bought me an awesome camera so thats cool too!!! I love you baby. I also want to give big thanks to my amazing grandparents. You guys are my guiding force in life. Grandma, you are always the one I turn to in good and bad times, You provide me with the best sounding board any one could ever ask for, You listen to me and give me just the right advise when i need it most. You helped me so much this past year, I could never thank you enough. Grandpa, even though we disagree(mainly on politics) you are the most honest and kind hearted man ever. The older i get the wiser your advice seems to get! Maybe i should start listening instead of realizing youre right in the end :) I totally love my dremel tool!!!! Cheyenne, I love you the most......I hope everything works out. I will always be here for you no matter what! Thanks for showing me that people can survive waking up at 5 am :) Amanda, we have been friends 4eva and i appreciate it so much, even though we don't see each other very much, you rock! Peas and carrots and all the crazy memories ill never ever forget. You make me smile like no other :) Mary, even though we haven't known each other that long, i really think we were meant to be friends. Scrap Therapy!

I have been having one of those weeks full of emotions, so i decided to get it out in the healthiest way possible....Scrap it. I feel some what better :) I have big things in the works right now, I look forward to sharing all about that soon (Gotta get everything straight first!) I hope to be scrapbooking allot more for my self now!!!! This LO started with my absolute fav paper by creative imaginations, this is the only paper(besides solid cs) that i have ever used over and over. It rocks!!! Then I painted some Lagoon MM paint on it using a stipple brush and the dry brushing technique, Then I added the pink Felt mat thing from prima. Its super cute but i put it on lopsided of course so i had to add the grey one to even it out. Warning, if you use these make SURE its straight the first time cus it does NOT peel up! Then i used some Heidi swapp letter masks with dry brushing for my title(I used MM Strawberries and cream), inked the edges in stone grey stazon embellished and i was done. Oh ya and i wrote my heartfelt journaling, for my eyes only, thats hidden behind the photo! I really like this color combo. I might use it for my prima mini book I bought at Convention. Speaking of......Are any of you guys going to CKC Tulsa. My friend and I wanna drive up there for the day!!! I think it will be fun....Its a 5 hr drive but who cares, i mean gas is cheap what more could you ask right???? Ok im sleepy talk to you guys soon. I have a couple more layouts to post soon, so be on the look out. Im gonna try and be a better blogger.

Sorry I havent been on much guys, I havent really been creating much for myself these days. Between work, classes, custom albums and life i havent had any time to my self. BUT all of that is changing as we speak!!!! So Fri is my Birthday, and Hubs has to work :( To make up for it we went and got my present today!!!! HELLO CANON REBEL XTI, welcome to the family!!!!! I have been wanting one for a while. I out grew my point and shoot camera long ago, but havent really wanted to spend the money on a better one. So mix a great hubs and a birthday and you get a totally awesome camera!!!! Ok im off to shoot some pics with this bad boy, ill up load some later. So far the difference is so amazing i can hardly contain my self. LOVE YOU JEFF!!!!!
